St. James Parish Hospital congratulates Joni Trepagnier, RN, on being chosen 2014 Employee of the 3rd Quarter.
Joni has worked at St. James Parish Hospital for 2 1/2 years. Her current role is Progressive Care Nurse. Joni is a 2001 Graduate of Lutcher High School and a 2005 Graduate of Our Lady of the Lake College.
Joni was nominated by Debbie Blanchard, Respiratory Therapist. She writes “Joni exceeds in helping her patients and their families by being honest, compassionate, a protector and a liaison. She honestly and compassionately gives them the information they need to make decisions about their healthcare and after the decision is made, she follows through with it. She protects their privacy and their right to make their own decisions and with them becomes a strong liaison for them to be able to carry out their wishes.”
Joni states, “I am honored to be part of an outstanding team of healthcare professionals and I am proud to serve my community. I am humbled to have received such a prestigious award, given to healthcare providers that make a difference in the lives of their patients and family members.”
