St. James Parish Hospital is extremely excited to welcome Dr. Nakash Grant, Clinical Cardiologist, to the team of skilled cardiologists supporting the hospital from Ochsner Health System.
This summer, St. James Parish Hospital announced a clinical affiliation with Ochsner for continuous cardiology support from a team of Ochsner Medical Center—Kenner physicians. This affiliation benefits the community through expanded local services, decreased travel time and greater access to world-class, quality care. The addition of Dr. Grant allows the team of cardiologists to increase coverage in our community. Patients can expect 24/7 cardiology support for ER and Inpatients, seamless transfer options, access to a national leader in cardiac care, outpatient cardiology clinics Monday through Friday mornings and quicker turnaround times on cardiology diagnostic tests.
Dr. Grant, who joins fellow Interventional Cardiologists Lewis Siegel, Zola N’Dandu and David Liff, brings an impressive resume to the skilled group of physicians from Ochsner Medical Center—Kenner. Dr. Grant earned his undergrad degree from Andrews University in Michigan. His Medical school background includes attending Loma Linda University (Medicine), Kettering Medical Center (Internal Medicine) and Kettering Medical Center (Cardiovascular Medicine). Dr. Grant completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Kettering Medical Center and his Cardiovascular Fellowship at Kettering Medical Center and Dayton VAH Medical Center all located in Ohio. Dr. Grant is a Board-Certified Internist and Board-Certified with the National Board of Echocardiography.
