Komen Grant to Fund 40 Free Mammograms in St. James Parish
St. James Parish Hospital was awarded grant funds from the Bayou Region Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Foundation. This grant is to be used to assist 40 indigent and uninsured women over age 40 in St. James Parish to receive a free screening mammogram. Grant funds are also available to assist 5 women to obtain free diagnostic mammograms and 5 free breast ultrasounds.
