St. James Parish Hospital is proud to announce the 2022 Employee of the 2nd Quarter, Jennifer Granier, PharmD. Jennifer was nominated by fellow staff and chosen by the Executive Leadership Team for her dedication to the hospital.

Jennifer graduated from Lutcher High School in 2009. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe where she also attended post-graduate school. In 2016, she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Jennifer has served St. James Parish Hospital in multiple capacities throughout her tenure. She began as a Pharmacy intern and for the past four years has worked as a staff pharmacist.

Jennifer was nominated by nurses Nicole Boe, RN, Annabelle Vicknair, LPN, and Tiffany McKennon, RN, who stated, “As Acute care nurses, we are required to intertwine our daily work habits with every single department. Most of our days are filled with lots of ups and downs and everything in between. When someone consistently helps us with a positive attitude that stands out.”

“Jennifer has a ‘let me see what I can do’ attitude. She is mild mannered, helpful and very knowledgeable in her field of work. She is a positive person first and foremost. She speaks to patients in ways they can understand her. She is an awesome coworker, and through the years has become a great friend,” said Nicole, Annabelle and Tiffany.
Jennifer commented, “In my fourth year of pharmacy school, I was able to complete a six week rotation at St. James Parish Hospital. From that day, I knew that hospital pharmacy was the path for me and hoped to one day serve my community as a pharmacist.”

“I truly enjoy working at St. James Parish Hospital and being a part of a team that is dedicated to providing excellent care for our patients,” said Jennifer.

St. James Parish Hospital congratulates Jennifer for her dedication to the hospital’s mission of providing excellent, quality and compassionate healthcare.
