2022 Employee of the 4th Quarter

St. James Parish Hospital is proud to announce the 2022 Employee of the 4th Quarter, Quani-Leka Reed, Medical Assistant. Quani-Leka was nominated by fellow staff and chosen by the Executive Leadership Team for her dedication to the hospital.

Quani-Leka attended St. James High School and graduated from Fortis College in Baton Rouge as a Medical Assistant (MA) in 2014. She has been in the medical field for almost nine years and has served for the past three as a Medical Assistant in the hospital’s clinics.

Quani-Leka was nominated by Medical Receptionists Natasha Foster and Ashley Simon.

“She is a true definition of a team player and steps up whenever and wherever she is needed,” said Natasha and Ashley.

Natasha and Ashley also described Quani-Leka as a fast-learner who can be counted on and will do anything to help others.

“She has a smile that lights up the room and we very lucky to work with such a great person,” said Natasha and Ashley.

Quani-Leka commented, “Great things are never done by one person in this field. They are done by a team of people and I just happen to work with the best team there is.”
