Hospital Welcomes New Lab Director

Please join St. James Parish Hospital in welcoming Arianne Scott-Pittman as the hospital’s new Laboratory Director. Arianne brings over 10 years of experience to the hospital’s leadership team.

Arianne received her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from LSU Health Shreveport and will soon graduate with a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Capella University.

She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), Clinical Laboratory Management Association (CLMA), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Arianne has worked in laboratory leadership for the past ten years serving in different capacities. She has experience at a large, Level 1 trauma and training hospital, a reference laboratory and a community hospital. She is a highly respected professional with many achievements as a clinical laboratory leader.

“Arianne’s background in laboratory leadership earned her highly-respected positions at much larger hospitals. We are extremely fortunate to have her expertise at our community hospital,” said Jeremy Martin, Chief Operating Officer.

“The education, experience and talent of the leadership team here at St. James Parish Hospital continues to impress me,” said Jeremy.

Arianne, a resident of St. James Parish, is grateful for the opportunity to utilize her past experience to serve her local community.

“I am excited to join St. James Parish Hospital, because the atmosphere is very close-knit—where everyone matters and family is important. It also allows me to be closer to my family,” said Arianne.
