Reducing Your Risk
St. James Parish Hospital offers Monoclonal Antibody IV Treatments for qualifying COVID-19 patients with a physician referral. These treatments can potentially reduce the likelihood of serious symptoms and/or hospitalization due to COVID-19. Treatments at St. James Parish Hospital have successfully allowed patients to recover from COVID-19 at home.

Our Process
Qualifying COVID-19 patients seeing a hospital physician or visiting St. James Urgent Care for treatment will be assessed to determine if a Monoclonal Antibody Treatment may reduce their risk of hospitalization.
St. James Urgent Care is open Monday - Friday from 1pm to 9pm and on weekends from 9am to 5pm. If you are having COVID-19 symptoms, call 225.258.2040 for more information about testing and antibody treatments. Qualifying patients opting for the treatment will be scheduled for an infusion at the hospital.
Qualifying COVID positive patients being seen in our ER will be assessed and offered antibody treatments during their visit if the treatment could be beneficial.
