2022 NRHA Top 20 Hospital for Patient Satisfaction

St. James Parish Hospital was recognized by the National Rural Health Association as one of the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) in the nation for Patient Satisfaction.

Top performing Critical Access Hospitals are identified through The Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX which utilizes publicly available data sets to quantify overall hospital performance based on market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspective, cost, charges and finance.

The National Rural Health Association recognizes the nation’s 20 highest ranking Critical Access Hospitals in the Quality and Patient Perspective pillars, naming them a “Best Practice” recipient in the designated category. St. James Parish Hospital was recognized as a Best Practice in Patient Satisfaction.

“Clinical skills can be taught, but the ability to show compassion is a special talent,” said Mary Ellen Pratt, FACHE, St. James Parish Hospital CEO.
