Safe Medication Disposal

St. James Parish Hospital’s Pharmacy Team would like to announce the arrival of the hospital’s new MedSafe Medication Disposal System located in the Medical Plaza entryway (near the restrooms).

Community members are encouraged to use the drop-off container to dispose of unused, accepted medications. The system is bolted down and monitored. MedSafe is a safe, recommended way to dispose of medications.
