« ReturnAcute and post-surgery inpatients at St. James Parish Hospital have access to Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy as requested by their physician.
Our multi-functional team can work with inpatients to teach them the proper method for safely completing daily activities such as moving in and out of bed, eating, toileting, and bathing. Our therapists will consider each patient’s diagnosis and work with them so that they can be more independent and prevent further injury.
Additionally, in 2020, St. James Parish Hospital welcomed a new Solo-Step Overhead Track and Harness System to aid in fall prevention. The new system will help patients with balance issues and instability confidently progress during their rehab programs.
Inpatient Services are provided Monday through Saturday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
