    Diabetes Support Group

    This FREE program is open to anyone who has diabetes or has a family member with diabetes. This support group is designed for all diabetics, whether newly diagnosed or has had diabetes for a long time. The hospital’s Diabetic Support Group meets the second Tuesday of each month.

    Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS Recertification - 8AM 6.13.19

    This CPR Class is a recertification for healthcare-related participants that need to renew their CPR certification. If this is the first time you are taking the course OR if you need a skills check-off, email us at communityed@sjph.org.

    CLASS DATE: 6.13.19
    LOCATION: Community Education Room (Medical Plaza)
    TIME: 8AM – 12PM
    The Healthcare Provider CPR Recertification is for participants needing to renew their CPR certification. It is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages. This class is for participants who provide healthcare to patients in a wide variety of settings including both in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Cost is $60 per attendee. Student fee is $50, but student must have proper identification. Payments can be made at the cashier desk in the hospital.

    Heartsaver CPR / First Aid - 8AM 6.18.19

    TIME: 8AM – 1PM

    The Heartsaver CPR Course is a course that teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child and infant victims. The First Aid Class teaches basic first aid procedures for medical emergencies and environmental emergencies. Cost is $60 per attendee for CPR and $75 for combined class. Payments can be made at the cashier desk in the hospital.

    Safe-Sitter is a medically accurate, hands-on two-day class that teaches boys and girls ages 11 through 13 how to handle emergencies when caring for children. Classes cover basic first-aid and CPR for infants and children in addition to offering information about how to handle children and run a safe business. Upon completion, students are presented with a certificate. The class fee is $50 per student. Space is limited.
