St. James Parish Hospital hosts Puberty Classes to discuss growth and development changes that occur during puberty. Classes are held in a relaxed, clinical setting. Participants must be accompanied by a parent or other significant adult. The class fee is $10 which includes a hygiene gift-set.

The Girls’ Puberty Class is led by a female instructor.

WHEN: Tuesday, November 11th at 6:00pm (Girls-only class)
WHERE: Hospital Meeting Room (enter near the walkway connecting the hospital and medical plaza)
FEE: $10 (paid by cash or check the evening of the class)

This course is a certification/re-certification course for participants needing their CPR certification. If you need to take this class for the first time, email communityed@sjph.org for additional details.

First-time course is $75/attendee ($50 with valid student ID).

The Healthcare Provider course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages. This class is for participants who provide healthcare to patients in a wide variety of settings including both in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
