Our Quality Care Promise

St. James Parish Hospital supports The Joint Commission’s Speak Up™ program. Speak Up™ urges patients to take an active role in preventing healthcare errors by becoming involved and informed participants on their health care team.

We welcome your feedback and encourage you to Speak Up if you have any concerns in regards to your care. As an inpatient, you can do this during weekly meetings we plan with you, your family members, physicians, and caregivers, or after you are discharged through a survey that is mailed to your home from an independent company. ER Patients are also randomly surveyed by a third party through a text-to-eSurvey or through a mailed survey.

We take our mission to provide excellent and quality care seriously by constantly monitoring patient satisfaction, safety and quality metrics in order to create initiatives that lead to ongoing improvements throughout our hospital.
