In partnership with The Blood Center, St. James Parish Hospital will be hosting a community blood drive from 11am to 4pm on Thursday, May 9th. The Bloodmobile will be on site for this event. Remember to eat a good meal and stay hydrated before and after your donation.

Donors will have the choice of one of these options:

• Heart Club

In celebration of Older American’s Month, St. James Parish Hospital is partnering with St. James Parish Elderly Services to host a Senior Picnic and Health Fair.

The event attracts a variety of health and wellness vendors which offer information, education and giveaways. The hospital also provides several free screenings and seniors are treated to a catered lunch.

Vendor Info

Health and wellness related vendors are welcome. Products and services cannot be sold at the event. One table and two chairs per vendor will be available. Vendors are asked to supply a tablecloth and are invited to bring a labeled door prize along with educational information and promotional giveaways.
