St. James Parish Hospital, in partnership with the Wellness Foundation and the American Lung Association, is launching the Freedom From Smoking Tobacco Cessation Program. Ranked among the top cessation programs in the country, Freedom From Smoking® offers flexible formats and proven, evidence-based techniques to help you succeed. The program supports quitting all tobacco products, including e-cigarettes and vapes. The class is free to participate and consists of eight sessions.

First session begins January 8th, 2026 at 10AM and will be located in the Hospital Meeting Room (enter near the walkway connecting the hospital and medical plaza).
