In celebration of Older American’s Month, St. James Parish Hospital is partnering with St. James Parish Elderly Services to host a Senior Health Fair and Picnic.

The event attracts a variety of health and wellness vendors which offer information, education and giveaways. The hospital also provides several free screenings and seniors are treated to a catered lunch.

Health, wellness and educational vendors are welcome. Space is limited. If your organization is interested in participating, fill out the form below. Please submit only one form per organization.

One table and two chairs per vendor will be available. Vendors are asked to supply a tablecloth and are invited to bring a labeled door prize along with educational information and promotional giveaways.

*Products/items/services cannot be sold at the event. Educational information is welcome.

St. James Parish Hospital hosts Puberty Classes to discuss growth and development changes that occur during puberty. Classes are held in a relaxed, clinical setting. Participants must be accompanied by a parent or other significant adult. The class fee is $15 which includes a hygiene gift-set.

The Girls’ Puberty Class is led by a female instructor.

WHEN: Tuesday, April 21st at 6:00pm (Girls-only class)
WHERE: Hospital Meeting Room (enter near the walkway connecting the hospital and medical plaza)
FEE: $15 (paid by cash or check the evening of the class)
