2015 Employees of the 1st Quarter
« ReturnSt. James Parish Hospital is proud to announce the 2015 Employees of the First Quarter, Twanya Rixner and Kirby Folse. Both employees were nominated by fellow staff and chosen by the Executive Leadership Team for their dedication to the hospital.
Twanya graduated from Lutcher High School and has worked at St. James Parish Hospital for eight years. She currently serves as a Materials Management Clerk.
Erin Becnel, Controller, and Lynne Bourg, Materials Supervisor, nominated Twanya stating, “We are so happy to have Twanya on our team. She truly believes that our patient needs come first. Twanya cares so intimately about the supplies she puts out for our staff to use. She not only does her job, but does it with the utmost pride.”
When asked for comment, Twanya stated “I am a devoted woman of God, a mother of four beautiful children, one wonderful grandson, Denim Gross and one the way, Jaxson Simoneaux. I am a dedicated youth leader at K.S.B.C. I love my coworkers and I thank God for how far he has taken me. It’s in him that I live and move. I thank God for giving me the ability to perform my job gracefully, faithfully and to the best of my ability. I am proud to be an employee of St. James Parish Hospital where I can share the good news about Christ and show compassion and love, not only to patients, visitors, friends, vendors and family, but also to my awesome coworkers. To God be the glory and honor for the things for which he has done.”
Kirby graduated from E. D. White Catholic High School in 2003 and is a 2008 graduate of Nicholls State University. Kirby has worked at St. James Parish Hospital for seven years. She currently serves as a registered nurse.
Kim Cason, Nuclear Tech, nominated Kirby and stating, “Kirby takes her time to make sure our patients get the best of care. She truly demonstrates our motto—large enough to serve, small enough to care.”
Kirby states, “I could not ask for a better group of coworkers than the ones I have at St. James Parish Hospital.”
St. James Parish Hospital congratulates both Twanya and Kirby for their dedication to the hospital’s mission of providing excellent, quality and compassionate healthcare.
