2017 Employee of the 3rd Quarter
« ReturnSt. James Parish Hospital is proud to announce the 2017 Employee of the 3rd Quarter, Lorain Landry, RN. She was nominated by fellow staff and chosen by the Executive Leadership Team for her dedication to the hospital.
Lorain has worked at St. James Parish Hospital for 10 years. She currently serves as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department. Lorain is a 1984 Graduate of Ascension Catholic High School. She attended Spencer Business College while working as a nurse assistant at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She then attended and graduated from Charity School of Nursing in 1993.
Lorain was nominated by Shannon Jackson, Admission Specialist. Jackson stated, “Lorain is a true and dedicated employee. She does her job, she does it well and that’s THAT. Her dedication to her patients is awesome. She makes sure they get the best care possible and before they leave the ER, she always asks them if there is anything else she can do for them.”
When asked for comment Lorain stated, “I would like to thank my teammates and co-workers for this honor, because being told you’re appreciated is one of the simplest and most uplifting things you can hear.”
“I am glad to say that I did not do it alone. I had help from a great group of co-workers that supported me every day and St. James Parish Hospital backing me. Thank you!”
