2023 Employee of the 1st Quarter

St. James Parish Hospital is proud to announce the 2023 Employee of the 1st Quarter, Jeanette Wallace, Environmental Services Technician. Jeanette was nominated by fellow staff and chosen by the Executive Leadership Team for her dedication to the hospital.

Jeanette graduated from Lutcher High School in 1983. She has served in the hospital’s Environmental Services Department for the last 17 years.

Jeanette was nominated by Andrea Walden, RN, Case Manager and Taleisha Felton, MSW, LCSW, Social Worker.

Andrea and Taleisha wrote, “Jeanette is a valued employee of St. James Parish Hospital. She has always been a pleasant, easy-going, friendly person to work with.”

“She is dedicated to doing her best for our hospital and our patients. She takes pride in the work she does. She is thorough in her daily work assignments and never seems to be flustered by a busy day. She often looks like a busy bee going from task to task but she is always willing to assist if needs arise even when she may be doing something else. She always makes it a point to check in on us in Case Management. She is a quiet soul that is a dedicated asset to our hospital, staff and patients. We want to thank her for all of her hard work and let her know it does not go unnoticed. She is greatly appreciated,” said Andrea and Taleisha.

Jeanette commented, “I truly enjoy working at St. James Parish Hospital.”
