2023 Employee of the 3rd Quarter

St. James Parish Hospital is proud to announce the 2023 Employee of the 3rd Quarter, Holly Troxler, Inpatient Coder. Holly was nominated by fellow staff and chosen by the Executive Leadership Team for her dedication to the hospital.

Holly graduated from Lutcher High School in 1993. She then attended Ascension College for the career path of Medical Office Specialist. Holly has served St. James Parish Hospital for 22 years in multiple capacities with her current role being an inpatient coder.

Holly was nominated by Gail Roussel, Release of Information Specialist.

“I nominated Holly for her detailed work ethic. When the hospital implemented a new information system, she was chosen to be the Medical Records ‘Super User.’ She stayed on top of her own work without missing a beat all the while learning the new system and helped smooth the way for our department during the launch,” said Gail.

“Most recently, Holly rose to the occasion again when we could not find a qualified inpatient coder. After 15 plus years of outpatient coding she made the leap to inpatient coding. She is always willing to help anyone in our department. She will stop her work to help me or anyone else,” said Gail.

Holly commented, “Working at St. James Parish Hospital is like working with family. I couldn’t ask for better coworkers.”
