New Surgery Clinic

St. James Parish Hospital is partnering with LSU Health Sciences Center to expand surgical services in our community. Dr. Jennifer Malsbury, General Surgeon, now offers outpatient appointments through St. James Specialty Clinic, a department of St. James Parish Hospital.

“I first began offering surgeries at St. James in 2013. When my clinic in Laplace transitioned to a new location, I knew that I wanted to continue my support of patients in the River Parishes,” said Dr. Malsbury.

Dr. Malsbury has been practicing for 12 years. She graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. She completed a surgical residency at Waterbury Hospital Health Center in Connecticut, followed by a fellowship in New Orleans at Tulane University.

She is a member of the LSU Department of Surgery and on staff at St. James Parish Hospital, where she offers outpatient appointments and surgeries.

Dr. Malsbury is bilingual (English-Spanish).

Dr. Malsbury sees patients in Suite 1400 in the medical plaza next to the hospital. Appointments are available every Wednesday and Thursday from 8am–5pm. Call 225.258.2070 to schedule an appointment.
