Temporary Mask Mandate Lifted Effective 9.12.22

The hospital’s current COVID policy states that a mask mandate will be in effect when the transmission rate of COVID-19 is high in our community. The transmission rate of COVID-19 in St. James Parish is no longer considered high at this time; therefore, our temporary mask mandate has been lifted.

Masks are still encouraged for patients and visitors who are not vaccinated, anyone who is immunocompromised or those seeking care for respiratory illnesses such as a cold, the flu or COVID-19.
