St. James Parish Hospital Therapy Center is a hospital-based outpatient therapy center focusing on value over volume. That’s why we like to offer hands-on, one-on-one care.
Our outpatient therapy services moved to a new state-of-the-art therapy center in 2021 to offer patients new technology, expanded services and more space. Our therapy center is located in the new addition of the medical plaza next to St. James Parish Hospital.
What makes us different?
While we understand that support staff can increase the safety and efficiency of patient visits, we believe that patients benefit most from quality time with a trained therapist. That’s why our patients can expect more one-on-one time in order to allow our therapists to modify exercises, incorporate manual therapy and answer questions. This one-on-one time allows us to better connect with patients, leading to better outcomes.

Louisiana allows patients experiencing neuro or musculoskeletal issues, chronic dysfunction or pain direct access to see a licensed physical therapist without a prescription or referral from a physician.
